Hello,
My name is Christopher Farrugia, I come from a medico-legal background and I have been working on translations for over 18 years.

As a freelancer, I translate from English to Maltese and vice-versa, and also from Italian to Maltese or Italian to English.

The areas of specialization I work on are medical, pharmaceutical and veterinary translations, Others include Safety Data Sheets, packaging information and information for users. I have worked also on EU texts having been involved in the wholesome body of European laws transposed and with technical and parliamentary translations.

Translation work has been through nominated work for the Law Courts in Malta. I have also been outsourced work from the major European, American, Australian and Asian agencies with regards to translations of manuals, regulations and websites.

Revision which is the process of checking draft translations for mistakes and making appropriate amendments.


Proofreading is the process of finding and correcting mistakes in text before it is printed or put online.
