Having graduated as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and later awarded a UNESCO fellowship which eventually led to a Post-graduate Diploma in Forensic Science from the University of Strathclyde (UK). I have provided consultancy services to the Maltese Courts, Foreign Consular Offices, The Media, and the Biotechnology sector.
In all these undertakings objectivity is sought through scientific analysis to establish conclusions. .
A forensic investigation is the practice of scientifically establishing evidence and facts that are to be presented in a court of law. The term is used for nearly all investigations, ranging from cases of financial fraud to murder. Forensics involves crime scenes, but may also involve other areas. These also include civil cases such as for paternity or inheritence claims. Other cases may also involve animals where is is doubt for purebred and mixed species. .
