Christmas in Malta is always big on treats and sweets. From nanna's famous Christmas cake to Auntie's super delicious Baci, here's a roundup of all Christmas desserts you will find at any Maltese home.

1. Baci Balls

These super easy-to-make treats are usually served with the after-dinner drink or at any family gathering. These tiny treats are also usually the first to be wolfed down by everyone present. 

2. Christmas Log

Another Maltese Christmas dessert, this infamous log is a downright favourite for any family member. This lovely cake is usually also found at offices or given as a sweet gift to family members.

3. Panettone 

This store-bought treat is not just a staple at any dinner table but also at parties, family gatherings, and even as a Christmas month dessert.
