Topics covered in the Basic First Aid Course include cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), dealing with incidents involving choking and near drowning, dealing with those who have fallen unconscious as a result of accidents as well as recovery positions, breathing issues such as asthma, head and spinal injuries, fractures and muscular injuries, burns and poisoning, heart attack, angina, stroke, seizures, epilepsy and diabetic emergencies. 

Additionally, the Basic First Aid Course gives individuals the knowledge and experience to deal with basic issues such as bandaging, controlling bleeding and shock, nose bleeds, chest injuries, and minor ailments. As can be seen, the course if exhaustive, taking into account a wide range of issues which can be met in both normal and extreme scenarios. The certificate is valid for 3 years, ensuring that your workforce won’t need to keep coming back frequently.
