As far as voluntary organisations go, we at the Federazzjoni Kaccaturi Nassaba Konservazzjonisti (FKNK) work towards preserving local ecological heritage in any way possible. We at the Federazzjoni Kaccaturi Nassaba Konservazzjonisti also have our own shooting club and associative sports club for all of our members.
Whether you want to help out in preserving our environment or simply want to meet up with like minded people and discuss certain issues which you hold at heart, we at the Federazzjoni Kaccaturi Nassaba Konservazzjonisti offer you the perfect space to do so. We offer our members a recreational space where they can come up with new ideas to volunteer against illegal activities, helping out in the cleaning of environmental areas and even work towards preserving the natural habitats of a range of local fauna. We also offer our members a space where they can practice target clay shooting on models.
We as a voluntary organisations work towards safeguarding a range of traditional Maltese social and cultural activities while still conserving our environment and promoting these activities in a healthy and ecologically friendly manner simultaneously. As a group we have always worked towards preserving a national hobby while still maintaining a healthy and thriving natural habitat. Our aim as the Federazzjoni Kaccaturi Nassaba Konservazzjonisti is to preserve the passion of hunting huntable migratory birds along with the live capturing with selective nets of a range of aviatory creatures which can be caught and kept alive in captivity.
We also abhor and work towards eliminating illegal hunting and trapping activities in Malta, as we as a voluntary organisation firmly believe that these activities can cause irreparable harm to both the ecosystem and other hunters and trappers who follow the rules. We also carry out research regularly on a range of subjects which are related to hunting, trapping and the local environment.
