We offer clear float glass, ideal if you're looking to have high visibility and clarity. The thicknesses available at F Zammit Glass Ltd range from 2mm to 12mm, and this applies to windows, shelves, tabletops, skylights, greenhouses, display cases, picture frame glass, doors, appliances and furniture applications.

You can also opt for laminated glass, which is a type of safety glass that holds together when shattered. In the event of breaking, it is held in place by an interlayer, typically of PVB, between its two or more layers of glass. The interlayer keeps the layers of glass bonded even when broken, and its high strength prevents the glass from breaking up into large sharp pieces.

At our showroom, you can also view examples of double-glazed glass, which consists of two or three glass window panes separated by a vacuum or gas-filled space to reduce cold and heat transfer. Double-glazed units are manufactured with glass in a range of thicknesses from 3mm to 10mm or more in special applications. Laminated glass may also be used as part of construction projects.

The selection of mirrors we present you with, like all other types of glass we have, can be custom-made to your specific measurements. We offer a variety of hanging mirrors as well. Mirrors come in three thicknesses, 3mm, 4mm and 5mm. For mirrors having a wooden backing or a frame, a 3mm glass mirror thickness is your choice. On the other hand, if you're looking for a freestanding mirror or a fixed mirror with hanging plates for easy installation to walls, tiles or gypsum boards, a 5mm glass mirror thickness is the right option.

Frosted glass or patterned glass is used mainly to obtain visual privacy without stopping natural light from coming in. Several patterns are available while the thickness available is 4mm.
