Our wine bar is located in the historic city of Valletta. You can’t get more central and accessible than that! Our strategic location makes us perfect for friends to meet up, as the Maltese capital is just a few minutes drive from anywhere around the island. Valletta also provides the ideal setting with its historical baroque buildings and elegant architectural wonders. It is the ideal location to enjoy a peaceful night out from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. 

Trabuxu Wine Bar is located in Strait Street, an iconic location, filled to the brim with stories from the Maltese Capital’s past. The wine bar can be found in a cosy 400-year-old stone vaulted cellar. This adds to our bar’s rustic and elegant charm. Loved by locals and foreigners alike, our wine bar sees a variety of clients on a daily basis. From vibrant and outgoing actors who visit after their theatre rehearsals, to tourists who are visiting our island and even wine and cheese commissures. Our wine bar is the ideal spot for all characters.

Our menu consists of a variety of aged wines from local or international vineyards. These can be paired with our delicious cured meats and variety of cheeses, including French, Italian and Maltese. For more sophisticated palates, we even have Gillardeau oysters to complete an extra special evening. Our menu is a feast for your tastebuds, complementing all your senses for a memorable experience. 

Furthermore, all of the orders are accompanied by freshly baked Maltese bread, water crackers as well as a lovely selection of home-made chutneys and jams. All of our cheeses are carefully selected from only the best suppliers on the market. Since these are fresh cheeses, the selection may vary according to availability. Our meats are brought over from Umbria in Southern Italy. We also have our very own terrine, chicken liver parfait and local Maltese sausage. These are all produced in-house for guaranteed freshness and quality.
