The team at Stepping Stones believes that effective child care involves the holistic development of the child, covering their social, emotional and physical well-being. At our child care centre, we make it a point to involve children in a well-planned daily program including cooking, crafts, gardening, puppet shows, dressing up, painting, outings, storytelling and a number of outdoor activities. Such outdoor activities are most appreciated during the hot summer days when children are allowed to play in freshwater pools under protective canopies.

To cater for babies, we have a great baby area that caters for children aged 2 months up to 12 months. Babies have their own daily routine which is carefully planned with the child's parents. Babies attending the centre will be provided with a daily report covering what the child did that day, namely the hours of sleep, nutritional information, nappy changing, and other reflections on the child's day at Stepping Stones.

We care for toddlers too. These are kept very busy with activities tailored according to the theme of the month. Through these activities and experiences, children are supported into a larger group while still promoting individual abilities. We also organise a mother/father and child club which offers a unique opportunity for children to socialise with other children in the presence of their guardians. Since the presence of a parent provides comfort, these events have proved to be very beneficial for development, confidence, and bonding. At Stepping Stones we encourage the independence of our little ones. Therefore, we aim to reframe the idea that food is always readily served. We do this by introducing children to the preparation of healthy food through fun, hands-on food activities. In this way, children are well-equipped to prepare their own food which is an essential life skill. Therefore, every Wednesday, our centres get messy as children gain fine motor skills through the use of kitchen utensils while learning how to do simple recipes. During these cooking sessions, healthy eating is promoted with various healthy ingredients that children can try out.

On your child's birthday, we do not let the day pass by without celebrating the gift of your kid's birth. Rather, we provide a memorable experience for your child by providing an exciting range of entertainment and activity packages for a great party. The party is all about having fun to add that extra spice to your child's special day.

Activities during such parties can range from a clown show with balloon modelling to face painting, bouncing castle and singing.
