The Victoria based Gozo SPCA is a non profit organisation which seeks to help, home and shelter a range of abandoned or stray animals which are brought to our premises. Our aim is, and always has been that of providing a safe environment and to promote a humane and kind treatment of animals through publicity, lawfulness, legislation and education. We work closely with the Gozitan community and the local authorities in order to remove animals from inhumane environments and situations.

We were founded back in 1976, and our aim has always been that of offering protection and shelter to stray or mistreated animals. You can find our headquarters in Victoria,where we also offer shelter to stray, lost or abandoned animals. Our aim is also that of helping people finding their perfect pet by presenting them with an efficient rehoming service where the dogs and cats are guaranteed the best possible Read Moreliving conditions that we can find for them. Our rehoming system is available for both locals and foreigners. We often rehabilitate dogs and cats before offering them the chance of being rehomed, however we believe that the biggest and most significant changes in behaviour can be seen when these creatures find their loving home and an accepting and amazing family to love them unconditionally forever.

Even though our goal is that of providing shelter and all the necessities to any strays or abandoned pets that we encounter, we try our best to not overcrowd our kennels. All animals are checked by a local vet, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Our rehoming and adoption centre is open from Mondays to Sundays.
