In 1915, the late John Attard Portughes started out Portughes Laundry & Dry Cleaning by providing services to the general population including the three British Services stationed in Malta at the time — the army, navy, and air force. Throughout World War II, the organisation continued to provide services to the British Services and then turned our focus to hotels and eateries when the Services left the island.

Since then we have kept on improving and expanding our services to make dry cleaning as efficient as possible for today's fast-paced society. Thanks to our fleet of vans, we are able to offer free collection and delivery services. We have also opened two new launderette locations, one in Ibragg at a short distance from Greens Supermarket and the other at The Campus Hub, University in Msida. Additionally, we offer 24/7 drop off laundry lockers!
