5 Beautiful Hike Trails In Gozo - Part 1
Summer is over – and hiking season is officially here. Malta and Gozo are blessed with numerous trails outdoor enthusiasts can explore. From abundant green spaces to picturesque seaside views, in this article, we will be exploring hike trails on Malta's sister island, Gozo.
1. Ramla Valley

You can begin this trail from Nadur's village core, this lovely trail will lead you to the countryside in no time. Here you can feast your eyes on the lush Gozitan countryside and Nadur's fertile valley. If you feel like taking it the extra mile, you can trek on to Ramla Bay.
2. Sanap Cliffs

To truly enjoy these Munxar-based cliffs, it is best to start your journey from the Ta' Cenc cliffs. While the Sanap cliffs are not too far off, the walk from Ta' Cenc is a through wonder to behold. From Sanap, one can admire the pretty Xlendi inlet beach. Needless to say, Sanap Cliffs are best enjoyed during sunset, so plan out your journey thoughtfully.
3. Wied il-Ghasri

Wied il-Ghasri can be accessed from Zebbug by taking the main road leading to the coastal area. This route will lead you to Wied il-Ghasri's scenic beauty. You can make your way to Xwejni Coast and finish the trail off at Marsalforn for a quick re-energising bite.
4. San Blas

This hiking trail can take you from the village of Nadur to Dahlet Qorrot through the San Blas valley and bay. What makes this trail truly particular is the number of unique springs, beautiful views one can admire. To truly enjoy this trail, it is best to start at Nadur, proceed to San Blas, il-Qortin continue to Wied ir-Rihan and finish off at Dahlet Qorrot bay.
5. Gebel Ben Gorg
You can begin this trail from Kercem or Victoria towards San Raflu lake. When arriving at this lovely duck-inhabited pond, one can opt for the marked cliff trail towards Gebel Ben Gorg. When exploring this area, one can admire the ancient Wardija Punic temples or even head down to Dwejra bay.
