Miriam Christine Borg is a renowned Brazilian-Maltese singer/songwriter who has had an extensive career in the music industry. Born in Brazil and raised in Gozo, her musical style reflects her upbringing and experiences, which are both dynamic and diverse.   

Among her many achievements and awards include winning the Malta Song for Europe award in 1996 for the song “In a Woman’s Heart” at the age of 17. The song then went on to gain both her and Malta 10th place overall in the Eurovision song contest of that year, propelling her career in the music industry to further awards and achievements, including winning the Malta Hit Song Contest of 2008 with the song “Alone Today”, which was both written and performed by her. As a singer/songwriter Miriam Christine’s inspiration draws heavily from Rhythm & Blues, and while she appreciates music with lyrics in English, she reserves a special place in her repertoire and songwriting for songs with Maltese lyrics.
