Procedure
Microblading is a semi-permanent option for shaping eyebrows, where a qualified beautician tattoos the eyebrows. Tattooing is done with single strokes, which gives much precision and can ensure more natural look. The first hour is dedicated to painting strokes with a pencil, during which you can guide the beautician and tell her what you want exactly. The colour is matched to the natural hair colour and skin tone. Just after the procedure it appears darker but fades with time. After the procedure, the skin around eyebrows must be properly taken care of and it’s better to avoid direct sun. However, once it’s fully recovered you don’t have to worry about water or rubbing.
Effectiveness
After the first application it’s good to have a follow-up appointment where the beautician can check the skin and if needed, make any corrections. Eyebrows done using microblading can last up to 3 years, but if you are happy with them, you can get them corrected every year or so, to prevent fading and have a long-lasting effect.
