Are you searching for a professional and experienced musician to enchant guests with beautiful guitar melodies during events? Evan Plumpton is a veteran guitarist with a passion for music. He started playing the guitar back at the age of 7 and he hasn't stopped playing ever since. With over 30 years of experience and a repertoire of different genres, you can rest assured that your guests will be pleasantly entertained.

Plumpton is available to perform at civil and church weddings, restaurants, hotels and other private events. He is a regular performer at the President's Ball, Notte Bianca, CHOGM and a number of receptions that take place at the President's Palace. Evan Plumpton also performs in quartets, trios and duos when it comes to his guitar recitals. He also took part in a number of baroque music festivals in Valletta, Mdina and Birgu where he is regularly accompanied by other instruments Read Moreincluding accordions, violins, mandolins and flutes.

He has had the opportunity and privilege to work with some of the best local and foreign singers and musicians in the business. He also took part in the first Tunisian Guitar Festival organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture as well as participated in the International Guitar Festival in England, where he performed with the magnificent John Williams, Julian Bream and Roland Dyens.

Plumpton holds a Bachelor's degree in classical guitar from the University of Malta, an FLCM diploma in classical guitar performance, and A.Mus VCM certification in music theory. Additionally, he possesses a Master's degree in guitar under the supervision of Michael Laus (director of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra) and John Mills (Cardiff). He has also been tutored by Simon Schembri, Carlos Bonell and Domenico Spada.

Aside from sharing his talents, Plumpton aims to impart his knowledge to others who adore string instruments like him, offering beginner and advanced courses for acoustic, electric as well as bass guitar.
