Charles Micallef Swimming Pools Ltd

Business Overview

Finding the right team for a swimming pool in Malta can feel like a big decision. Charles Micallef Swimming Pools Ltd, based in Iklin, works with homeowners, hotels and other businesses on pool projects across the island. The company handles everything from the first design conversation through to the final tile, so clients have one point of contact for the whole project.

The team builds pools in almost any size and shape. Projects range from a compact plunge pool for a small garden to a full infinity pool in Malta with uninterrupted views. Above ground swimming pools in Malta are also part of the service. This gives properties without space for a full excavation a quicker way to get in the water. In ground pools remain the most requested option for gardens and rooftops with room to build. Saunas, spas and steam rooms can be added alongside a new pool too. Commercial work brings its own set of demands. Hotels, gyms and other venues need a pool that can take heavy daily use while meeting strict safety rules. Each commercial project is planned around those requirements from the outset. Pool construction in Malta also has to deal with local conditions, including rocky ground and a hot climate for much of the year. The team designs and builds with these factors in mind. The aim is always a pool that keeps performing well long after the last coat of finish has dried.

An older pool does not always need to be replaced. Swimming pool renovation covers replacing broken tiles, updating tired filters and heaters, repairing worn surfaces or redesigning the whole pool area. Each renovation is planned to keep disruption to a minimum while making a real difference to how the finished pool looks and works.

Every installation uses modern filtration together with chlorine free water sanitation systems. This approach is chosen to help reduce energy and water use while keeping day to day maintenance straightforward. It suits Malta's long, hot summers well, when a pool tends to see steady use for months on end rather than just a few weeks.

The brief might be a private pool in Malta for a family garden, or it might be a full scale commercial build. Either way, Charles Micallef Swimming Pools Ltd is one of the swimming pool contractors in Malta with hands on experience across homes and businesses alike. The team is happy to talk through the options, from material choices to the right filtration system for a particular property. Anyone planning a new pool in Iklin or further afield across Malta is welcome to get in touch. The same goes for anyone thinking about renovating an existing one.
