The smart brand is becoming more popular among the Maltese thanks to its high functionality on the island’s narrow streets and tight parking spaces. Smart is a city car, designed especially for such conditions, enabling the driver to fit into small spaces and find parking spots easily. The car also lowers the fuel consumption and switches off the engine automatically while in a stationary position.

Models

Available models are Smart Fortwo, Fortwo Cabrio and Forfour. In case the desired model is not in stock, a dealership can import it on request. Different packages and features are available for an additional fee, such as the LED & Sensor or Cool & Media packages. Service and Warranty

Smart cars have 1 or 2 years guarantee which can be extended by an additional 12 months. Warranty is passed over to a new owner when a vehicle is sold. It covers all work and maintenance of the car, however only at an authorised Smart service partner. In case a vehicle has over 50,000km driven, the owner will have to cover the costs of the materials in case of servicing.
