4 Stunning Swimming Spots In Gozo You'll Fall In Love With
by Chiara Micallef

Dazzling blue waters, heart-stopping beaches and fabulously spectacular cliffs – there's nothing quite as magnificent as Gozo's bays and beaches. From secluded spots to easy-to-access beaches, here are four of our most favourite swimming spots in Gozo.
1. Dahlet Qorrot
Just off Nadur, Dahlet Qorrot can easily be called a natural wonder. This pretty clear-watered inlet is nestled in between picturesque cliffs and awe-inspiring quaysides. This rocky bay is a geological hotspot thanks to the number of fossils one can find embedded in the rocks.
2. Ix-Xatt l-Ahmar
Ix-Xatt l-Ahmar is a super pretty spot loved by both swimmers and divers. It's known for its beautiful surroundings, red sand and a picturesque diving wreck in the depths of this pretty bay. This bay is not very busy – mainly because it's not that easy to reach.
3. Wied il-Ghasri
Adored for its calming beauty and ability to present photographers with an amazing money shot, Wied il-Ghasri is a true must-visit. This narrow inlet is super quiet and ideal for anyone who is looking for some peace of mind and calm. It's a great spot for both snorkelers and swimmers on the northwestern coast of Gozo.
4. Dwejra
Home to the Fungus Rock, super dramatic coastal formations and a 17th Century tower commissioned by Grandmaster Lascaris, Dwejra is a truly spectacular bay. You can choose between deep and shallow seas when visiting this natural wonder, which is also one of Gozo's most famous diving sites.
