Rubino Ristorante e Dolceria is one of Malta's most celebrated Maltese restaurants. It sits in the heart of Valletta and has been open since 1906. It started life as a Sicilian confectionery run by Vincenzo Rubino, a sweet maker from Palermo. Today it is one of the finest Mediterranean restaurants on the island. It has earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand for seven consecutive years.
The restaurant is run by the Diacono family. Brothers Karl and Michael took over in 2008. Head chef Edward Diacono, trained in the UK, joined them shortly after. Together with head waiter Tony and the rest of the team, they have made Rubino a go-to destination for quality food and genuine hospitality.
The menu is a la carte and is available for both lunch and dinner. Starters include aljotta, smoked octopus, fresh neonati, and pasta. Main courses offer a wide choice of meat, fish, and seafood. You can Read More
