Okurama is by far one of my favourite restaurants. The all you can eat buffet is priced at €25 per person which is very decent. Food is fresh and delicious but the service is terrible especially the one in Paceville next to Avenue. We always have missing items and it takes forever even if the restaurant is not very busy. Highly recommend the one in San Gwann tho, and the one next to Westin is OK too. it's good to know that menus for all 3 locations are somewhat different especially the main courses and even most of the sushi!!

This is the best place to go to if you're looking for good quality sushi at a reasonable price. The retaurant offers an a la carte and a buffet option (25.50eur for an all you can eat experience), and they don't just serve sushi!

Unlike other Asian restaurants on the island, the buffet is not the usual self service scenario. You have to be a minimum of 2 people and are given a write on sheet where you have to mark and write down the quantity of servings you would like to order from the menu. The buffet is also split into different rounds:

Round 1 : Sushi and Salad
Round 2: Appetizers and Soup
Round 3: Main Course Dishes
Round 4: Sushi... again
Round 5: Ice Cream

I've been there a dozen of times and never left disappointed, the food and service is good however I gave ambiance, food and service 4 stars because of the following.

Ambiance: First of all there are 2 Okurama restaurants in St.Julian's (and a recently opened one in San Gwann). I am rating the ambiance of the one in the corner opposite Westin. The place is large and although the decor is truly international it gives a nice vibe to the place, however it tends to get a little loud and tables seem a little cramped. Still a lovely place unless you're really picky.

Food: It's great but there is a difference in the size of the portions when you order a la carte and buffet. One would expect this but when it comes to the main course dishes the portions are very small (you need to order 3 of the same item to get the same portion of an actual main course). Also love the ice cream, good sized scoops and delicious!

Service: The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, however it does tend to get busy and sometimes you may be missing a few items from your order or have to wait a while for the food to reach the table.
