HIDDEN CONDITIONS AND INSULTING EMPLOYEES

5 Nov 2019

I bought on the 12th of July two tickets for the Hypogeum from HeritageMalta.
On 25th of October when we arrived at the reception of the Hypogeum, we were told that we are not allowed to enter with our one and a half year old son, who was sleeping in a baby carrier/wrap.
I was offended by the boy employee from the Hypogeum and called "stupid" because I asked if I can enter with the child being carried by myself or if I can let the child at thr reception, being tied in his pushchair.
Furthermore, I consider this is a fraud, as when you first enter the HeritageMalta website, when you go to book tickets for the Hypogeum (https://booking.heritagemalta.org/), there is nowhere written the fact that I cannot enter with a small child. This is such an important thing, and it's not normal that this information is so hidden. The info should have been written before buying the ticket.
We are a young family and we come from a poor country. It was a big sacrifice for us the 70 euro we spent for the tickets ans we really wanted to see the Hypogeum. I did not expect to be treated and offended like that at the reception.
I left from there very dissapointed. I also tried to contact them by email several times, but no one even bothers to respond.
