I used to be a member for years, but the owner always made me feel unwelcome. They would keep me waiting in reception and serve other clients who came after me before serving me. Things came to a head when I had to renew my membership (4th year in a row).

I had a valid corporate discount, which I dutifully presented. Nothing was said about not validating it until they processed my bank card and said that no discount was applied. By then, I had been charged hundreds of euros for the annual membership. They refused to refund me on the spot. To make matters worse, they made me feel like a thief in front of other patrons for even asking.

I was so embarrassed and humiliated by this point that I never went back to the gym, losing hundreds of euros on the membership. I liked the trainers and the gym equipment was okay but the owner was absolutely terrible to me for no reason whatsoever. Never again!
