With Carnival being right around the corner, we sure hope you’ve got your costumes settled. If you’re an avid procrastinator like us, and haven’t had time to put together a disguise, check out these 5 ideas we’ve laid out for you.

Venetian

You can never go wrong with a classic costume such as the Venetian. Put together a beautiful old-fashioned dress and purchase a gorgeous vintage mask to accompany it. If you fail to find a dress for your costume, pay a visit to a charity shop. After all, one man’s trash is another’s treasure.

Matchy-Matchy

Planning to celebrate Carnival with your hubby? Why not go all the way and get matching costumes? Dress up as Minnie and Mickey Mouse, Salt and Pepper, Peanut Butter and Jelly. We know it might sound cheesy but we’re sure some of you find this equally as adorable.

Squad costume

Gang up with your friends and dress up as your favourite squad. The options are endless, what will you opt for? Disney princesses, the Justice League, Avengers or Task Force X, maybe?

Body spray

If you’re not interested in putting on a costume, maybe you should opt for body spraying instead. Although this process can be time-consuming and tedious, the end result will be gobsmacking.

Gender-swap

If your favourite persona happens to be of the opposite gender, fear not, there’s nothing a bit of gender bending can’t achieve. Applying a personal twist to a character will only make your costume all the more unique!
