We all need protein whether the end goal is to lose or gain weight. We can consume protein through the obvious sources of meat, eggs, fish and vegetables. Protein is a macronutrient that keeps us lean and full of energy! Protein shakes are a great supplement and also contain much fewer calories than any regular protein abundant meals.
Some protein shakes are a bit bland so here are some ingredients you could add to spice things up, just place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you've achieved your desired consistency.
1. Vanilla coffee shake
For the coffee lovers; this is the shake for you. If you wish to start your day with a boost, then you should try this delicious coffee shake.
Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups skimmed milk
2 Scoops vanilla protein
½ cups of coffee
2. Soy almond shake
Being lactose intolerant shouldn't discourage you from having protein shakes. Try out this soy almond shake!
