Having windows around your house will allow a lot more natural light to come inside, which is always a pleasure and it's also energy saving. With the more modern homes, big windows and glass doors are a must. As beautiful and useful as they might be, anything made of glass requires a bit of maintenance.
We, therefore, want to share with you our tricks and tips to spotless and crystal clear windows!

The white vinegar cleanser

White vinegar is a great cleaner to use around the house, as it's natural, it removes odours and deep cleans any surface. Apply a mixture of water and white vinegar in a spray bottle, and spray the areas you wish to clean. Use a cloth to wipe the surface, and then use a microfiber cloth to dry the area. Alternatively, you can use white vinegar directly on its own by dipping a sponge in a bucket of vinegar.

The newspaper trick

This is an old family trick, but it seems to work wonders. If your windows do not require deep cleaning but just a simple wash, then you can use newspaper to remove any unwanted marks on the windows. In addition to this, you will require a solution - you can either opt for a commercially available window cleaner or make your own natural homemade vinegar window cleaner.

Sponge, squeegee and towel

If you are up for a bit of extra work, then arm yourself with a sponge, squeegee and towel and a cleanser of your choice. Start off by rubbing the sponge hard against the surface, to try and remove as much dirt and prints as possible. Use the squeegee to get rid of the remaining cleanser, and then proceed to use a towel to dry everything quickly - this will avoid having water marks on the windows.

Remember that you should clean both the inside and outside of the windows to achieve a crystal clear look.
