5 Nativity Scene Exhibitions Around Malta & Gozo You Can Visit This Month

Nativity scenes are one of Malta's most popular Christmas traditions. You can find one in almost every home or church on the island. During this season's festivities, you can find a number of nativity displays around the island. From static nativity scenes to mechanical cribs, here are five nativity scene exhibitions you can visit this week in Malta and Gozo.

1. Mechanical Nativity Crib, Zejtun 

The mechanical crib at the Jesus of Nazareth Institute was inaugurated in 1947, and it's the first crib of its kind in Malta. You can visit this nativity crib till the 9th of January 2022. 

2. Crib Exhibition, Nadur 

This Christmas crib is reflective of St. Francis' first nativity scene. This Nadur-based exhibition will be on show till the 6th of January.

3. In Nativitate Domini, Mosta

The Grupp Armar Marija Assunta of Mosta is currently hosting a crib exhibition till the 2nd of January 2022. 

4. Mechanical Crib, Victoria Gozo 

This mechanical crib will be showcased at the Cultural Centre in Victoria, Gozo from Mondays to Sundays. The crib will be exhibited till the 2nd of January. 

5. Rahal il-Presepji, Xaghra

Xaghra, Gozo is transformed into a crib exhibition village, as there are around 29 cribs and crib exhibitions on show in various places around the village, including private residences
