Top Tips To Make The Perfect Coffee At Home Every Time
by Moak International
Black, white, sweet or strong, coffee is, and has always been, the perfect drink for many people. From smooth pour-overs to classic drips, making the perfect coffee is not just an art, it's a virtue.
In this post we are not going to discuss whether you use an espresso maker, a french press or a regular coffee machine. We are going to teach you the tips of the trade when it comes to getting the perfect cup of brew anytime.
1. Choose the right beans
Whether you enjoy a sultry cafe noir, a perky caffe latte or a strong and powerful brew, having the right coffee beans can truly make or break your coffee cup. Whether you would rather opt for whole beans, ground or even pods, the trick is to choose the right one for yourself carefully. At our store you can get your hands on delicate Arabica beans, that will present you with a bitter aftertaste and a fruity aroma. We also hold a range of fair-trade coffee beans, decaf selections and a blend of sweet scents. We also offer our clients the chance of getting their hands on the swing capsules — a blend of floral and citrus scents accompanied with hints of hazelnut and cocoa. At Moak International you can even get a choice of high-quality espresso coffee.
2. Keep it fresh
Storing your coffee well guarantees you freshness and strong taste. You need to keep them in an airtight container, like the ones provided with our Espresso range in a moisture and light-free area. You can also store your coffee beans in an opaque glass container.
3. Be generous
We cannot stress this enough. Do not skimp on your coffee when preparing a glass, as it will present you with a weaker and less pleasurable taste. It is recommended to use two tablespoons of coffee for every 200 milliliters of water when brewing a fresh cup. Skimping on coffee will not save you these precious beans, it will just present you with a lacklustre cup of mocha.
4. Use filtered water
If your water is not good, your coffee will not taste as great as you want it to either. It is best to use filtered water when it comes to brewing your coffee, as this will present you with a cleaner and smoother taste. If you feel like your water tastes a bit off, then it is not good for coffee.
5. Froth your milk to perfection
If you are looking to get a heavenly cappuccino or a lovely latte, it is best to froth your milk. Doing so manually can be a bit tricky. Reduced-fat or skim milks are much easier to froth. If you feel like this is too time consuming for you, you should opt for the Electric Milk Frother by VAVA at our store. This electric liquid heater can present you with both hot and cold frothy drinks.
